Hi Tim and Eric, I think you're giving Matt a bit of a hard time....unnecessarily. Erickson didn't only use process oriented therapy....he added his own content too. That's why the recurring storey line went along the lines of....client solves problem, gets married, has several kids, sends Erickson presents. He tended to impose his own version of family values (read content) as John G has intimated either in this forum or in WITW. In your replies you are also both imposing your own content in the form of mindreads and I think it would still be instructive if John gave some examples to further clarify process and content variables....Matt is not the only one in this forum who would benefit....I would too!
