NJ, Here's a partial response. The most I'll present at this time... (1) I did not state the first sentence, it was a quote from another post. (2) I do not necessarily (read that formally) mean logical levels. Not as defined in WITW. (3) As I interpreted the quote I quoted, yes. It is, in my working model, the clients presented content. In the context of this thread I have been taking this to mean verbally presented content. (4) This question doesn't make sense if you understand the position I have been presenting. Using these labels, which I don't happen to like and did not introduce but are easy enough to understand, level 2 would be structure relative to level 1 content. Yeah, it's a recursive definition, such is life. (4) For a specific example of how these distinctions are relative, see my post re:repressed memories under the "Examples of structure vs. content" topic. Although it is rich with content this makes is a perfect example (by definition ;-) illustrating the concept that these distinctions are relative. (5) Client presents a context in which they are doing a behavior that they would like to change. Therapist suggests a different behavior that the client c/should try in that context. Generalizing this: When client presents with a desire for behavior change, "therapist" responds with any type of advice. (6) Can't make meaning of this one, especially, "client current content" bye for now, Todd |
