In WITW you will find good description of multiple perceptual positions pages 246-248.  Re triple position you find commentary from pages 248-256 and a case study.

3rd position is a position where you see and hear the interaction between 1st and 2nd from the vantage point of an observer. Your third will need resources that maintain the purpose of shifting to third, if a supreme human beings works for you, it certainly is higher logical level…..great. The alien one might be fun, but less useful as third position, but that’s my MOW.
