By disassociated, I mean the definition that Robert Dilts and Judith Delozier use in the "Encylcopedia of NLP," particularly in the respect to the following sections: "viewing yourself from the perspective of an outside observer, such as seeing oneself as if one were watching a movie or video of one's behavior (p.291)" and "(D)issacociation, for instance, is a key element of 'meta-position' or 'third position' (p. 292)." Dilts and Delozier also define third position as involving "being disassociated from the interaction between self and another, and being associated in a point of view outside of the relationship (p. 1415)."
