Dr Grinder You write in a reply to Spike, "The most common ones I run into are presuppositions and embedded commands (I hear them) I laugh and either walk on by or respond with a double bind." Curious question John. When do you chose to just walk by and when do you chose to use a double bind? The reason I ask is John is as a member of a corporate enviorment my physiology needs to be more contained, as I do not have the freedom of walking by/out unless I do decide to quit my job which of course is a choice on my part. But John I did love your reply as I began recoginizing how those pressupositions and embedded commmands do move down hill in my corporation from the shareholders to the board members to the CEO to his 6 Senior Presidents to their 7 VicePresidents to the National sales mangers to Regional Sales mangers to the operation managers and people to our dealers and to their customers etc. These executive linguistic constructs do effect dramatically the workers and corporate nervous systems.
