When you wrote that you thought exploration of technological possibilities was a strategy to discover and code additional choices, did you consider whether all technological possibilities allow you to anchor a state reenterable (in the target context) without the technology? I would think so, but you didn't mention it. If ever the technology produced states that you couldn't anchor without it, then you'd either not use the technology, or be stuck with a client who got what he wanted, and left with it tucked under his arm. Your consideration must have led somewhere.... I think you would fear such a situation, but I'm not sure. If ever you want to describe why you would fear such a situation, I'd be interested in your description. -nj |
