Hey, ny, maybe you're a genius too. My hallucination is that people have the similar experiences, though some people may have some of them more frequently. But let me ask you a question, how does one know one has ever had an experience that escaped, in all ways, the influence of linguistic transforms? I'd argue that because consciousness is constructed by unconscious processes, and linguistic transforms are unconscious processes, it would be impossible. I also don't believe there is any cognitive process that is wholly sensory or wholly linguistic. Another question: if I alter my sensory experience (gone to FA) by quieting my internal dialog through six-step reframing, isn't it really an F2 transform, since it's being perpetrated by a language act? best, JS |
