GSM I understand what you are proposing and I have quite a different representation of the process you are attempting to characterize as a know-nothing state. The player, after doing the game under the calibration monitoring of an effective coach could be usefully understand (in my opinion) as in a know-nothing state with respect to what specific choice and behaviors his or her unconscious will exercise in the context of application.
